Capri, Day 33

My second day trip from Sorrento was to the island of Capri. This island was used as a vacation spot of sorts by the roman emperors and as you may imagine it is a lovely spot,

I took a boat tour around the island, luckily the weather and the views were great,

This is the main port of Marina Grande,

Note the small boat in this picture next to the cliffs,

This is the Grotta Verde, and the picture does a good job of showing the amazing color of the water,

The boat let us off on the southern port of Marina Piccola, the beach there was so lovely and there were very few tourist,

This is the view from the western side of the island,

I went and visited the Blue Grotto while on the island, the spot is lovely and the water really does just glow blue but you only get a few minutes in the grotto,
