Brugge, Day 18 & 19

I left Brussels to go to Brugge for 2 days while the weather was nice. Brugge is a lovely medieval city with a lot of charm and tourists. Brugge is a fun city to wander around because of the canals,

 

  

The entrance way to my hostel was down a rather small side alley,

Here is the main town square,

There was this guy playing music near the main square both days I was there on this weird metal pot like instrument, I dont know what it is but the music was very nice,

 This is the interior of the Basilica of the Holy Blood, they say they have some of the blood of Jesus Christ in a small vial, I was there for a service when the blood was brought out and people were able to go up to it and say a prayer,

The Stadhuis was very nice and ornate, 

I went of to the top of the Belfry that was on one of the sides of the main square, it was a lot of steps but the views in the next pictures were worth the walk,

One of the churches in Brugge has Michelangelo's statue Madonna and Child, it is great and people should definitely go and see it if they are in Brugge.
