While traveling in South Korea I had previously heard about going to a temple stay program available at temples around the country. In Busan I met 2 people who had just finished a temple stay at the Golgul-sa Temple near Gyeongju. I cut my stay in Busan short to attend this temple stay program for 1 week.
The entrance to Golgul-sa Temple,
The temple stay schedule, there would be 2 training sessions daily in Sunmudo, a martial art,
Walking to the building for the morning chants at 4:30 AM,
Homage to the Three Jewels, one of the chants,
Morning walking meditation on a foggy day, I am lucky I decided to take my camera this day,
Tea with a monk,
One of the buildings for housing temple stay attendees,
My room,
The temple grounds,
A Sunmudo demonstration,
The dogs that live at the temple,
Interruptions to walking meditation,
Meal time,
