Kyoto, Day 416, 417 & 418

From Naoshima I returned to Osaka but spent my time taking trips to Kyoto since there were a few sites I wanted to visit.

Naoshima, Day 414 & 415

From Miyajima I wanted to go somewhere I little more quiet and less touristy. I decided to go to the island of Naoshima. Although it is a small island with a population of only a few thousand there are multiple art museums and many outdoor art sculptures.

From Hiroshima I took a day trip to the lovely island of Miyajima.

Hiroshima, Day 410, 411 & 412

After Nara I stopped in Kyoto again for a 2 days and then continued to Hiroshima. Known for being the first city in the world to be attacked with an atom-bomb, currently Hiroshima is a lovely and bustling city.

From Osaka I took another short train ride to the city of Nara, a previous capital of Japan and site of many beautiful temples, shrines and museums.
